About the 2025 QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic):

The QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic) recognizes high-achieving school leavers and gap year students starting their undergraduate studies at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2025. This prestigious, merit-based scholarship provides financial support and includes membership in the esteemed QUT College of Excellence, fostering academic success and leadership opportunities.

Scholarship Value: Up to $30,000

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the 2025 QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic), applicants must:

1. Be starting university for the first time in 2025.
2. Have completed Year 12 in 2024 or graduated in 2023 with no more than one gap year.
3. Achieve an unadjusted ATAR of 98.00 or higher, or equivalent. Note that the selection process is competitive, and meeting the minimum ATAR does not guarantee an offer.
4. List QUT as your first preference on your QTAC application during the main December and January admissions offer rounds.
5. Receive a QUT offer for your first-preference course.

Additionally, applicants must belong to one of these categories:

• Australian or New Zealand citizen
• Permanent resident of Australia
• Holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
• International student who completed high school in Australia or an Australian curriculum (including International Baccalaureate) offshore.

How to Apply:

No separate application is required. Eligible students will automatically be considered based on their QTAC application.
