Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen and resident of a participating Pacific developing country
- Not hold or be eligible for permanent residence in Australia
- Not be married or engaged to someone who holds Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status (with some exceptions for countries without passports, such as the Cook Islands, Niue, and Tokelau)
- Fulfill specific eligibility criteria set by the government of their home country
- Meet the host government’s immigration requirements for regional students
- Not hold another scholarship during the scholarship period
- Not be transferring from another scholarship program
- Not have held or currently hold an Australian Government scholarship within two years of the proposed start date.
