The 2025 Sydney International Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship is designed to attract outstanding international students from diverse backgrounds and priority markets. This prestigious scholarship supports recipients in pursuing various undergraduate programs at the University of Sydney, providing financial relief and fostering academic success.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Program of Study:
   • Apply for, but not yet commence, a single undergraduate coursework degree (including embedded honors) at the University of Sydney with a maximum duration of four years.
   • Exclusions: The scholarship does not cover combined degrees with a postgraduate component, the Bachelor of Arts (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), Bachelor of Economics (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), or degrees involving the Bachelor of Advanced Studies.
2. Enrollment:
   • Must enroll full-time in an eligible undergraduate degree.
3. Student Status:
   • Be classified as an international student as per the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
   • Australian citizens, permanent residents, and dual citizens are not eligible.
4. Educational Background:
   • Complete secondary school or a recognized foundation program in Australia or through a University of Sydney foundation partner.
   • Applicants must not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies, except for extension studies as part of a Year 12 program.
5. Second Degree Restriction:
   • Applicants commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney are not eligible.
